A little bit of what I'm doing this summer!! :)
Dear Friends and Family,
As
you know throughout the last few years God has led me to incredible places to
do amazing things for His kingdom. He has taught and showed me so much of whom
He is and who He wants me to become. This year I believe God is calling me to
Wales in the United Kingdom to minister to the lost and show Christ’s love to
the homeless and hurting in this country.
At
the turn of the 20th century, there was a huge Christian revival led
by Evan Roberts which led thousands to Christ. However after the first World
War Christianity plummeted and doubt in the people’s heart grew. When the
second World War came about people started blaming the horror and war and
suffering of the time on Christ instead of on their fellow man. From there more
religions have entered Wales such as Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and
Druidism. This summer it is our goal to uncover the eyes of the Welsh and show
them the love and truth of Christ.
This
summer, I am going to the beautiful country of Wales with my mother and the New
Life Church Worship choir. We will be working with the homeless who are hurt
and hungry and most of all need Christ’s love and hope. We will also be working
and ministering to women and children in the community.
The
total cost will be $2500.00 and we are going to be there from June 15-29, 2013.
Most importantly I request your prayers and thoughts as I head out on this
trip. This trip would be meaningless if Christ weren’t the center of it all.
Secondly, I request your help financially. Anything you could contribute would
